Fidox Energy Limited is committed to protecting the health and safety of our people, our customers, and the communities we serve, and to minimising the environmental impact of our operations.

We operate to international standards for LPG handling, transport, and storage, and align our practices with the Nigeria Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) and applicable NAFDAC/DPR guidelines.

• Zero incidents is the goal. Every incident is preventable.
• Every employee, contractor, and partner has the right — and the responsibility — to stop unsafe work.
• Safety and environmental performance are measured, reviewed, and continuously improved.
• We are transparent about incidents, near-misses, and lessons learned.

• All operational staff complete role-specific safety training before duty and refresher courses annually.
• Approved PPE is provided and its use is mandatory in operational zones.
• Emergency drills are held quarterly across depots and stations.
• A confidential channel is available for reporting safety concerns without fear of retaliation.

• Cylinders are inspected, requalified, and hydrostatically tested to schedule.
• Storage tanks and refilling stations meet the required setback distances and use certified fittings and valves.
• Delivery vehicles are GPS-monitored, speed-limited, and inspected before every trip.
• All operational sites have posted evacuation plans, fire suppression systems, and 24/7 monitoring.

By replacing wood, charcoal, and kerosene with clean-burning LPG, our core business already reduces indoor air pollution and deforestation. Beyond that, we:

• Monitor and report our own emissions across depots and fleet.
• Recycle scrap steel, packaging, and used consumables where possible.
• Partner with NGOs on tree-planting and community environmental programmes.
• Are exploring solar-hybrid power for new stations in phase 2 expansion.

This policy is owned by the Managing Director and reviewed by executive leadership at least annually, or after any material incident. Key HSE metrics are reported to the board quarterly.
